Does anyone know if they have/are bringing out an internet based .hack game? I know about the PS2 games- blah blah but what about a REAL internet game like FF11? I know that apparently they are developing (somewhere) headsets similar to the ones in .hack which is kinda worrying but also cool... But I NEED a real .hack game!

.Hack isn't dying out, exactly, and hardcore fanatics are probably still obsessed with it (to an extent), but unfortunately it *has* faded into obscurity for awhile (at least until something innovative and new is released, to grab the attention of potential .hack fans). Though it's plausible that .hack's popularity decrease is somehow related to its removal from Adult Swim (I know a lot of fans who were marginally disappointed but never took the initiative to pursue other .hack series/games).

I prefer to think of it as "temporarily in exile" ^_^.

"Temporary exile", is a very well put way of saying it. Kagome's Arrow, makes some very valid points. To me the games, manga, anime have been going on for some time now. They really need to kick it up with something new and original that might captivate .hack fans, and potential fans. I'm sure a real "The world" would captivate every one in . . .the world. :)

The closest to a real world I have seen was an online The World Chat.

English Help site if your intrested: http://sark.hollosite.com/hackchat/

I dont know if its good or not. Another site they say, at the moment it is only a chatting program and the RPG part, is being considered. Not sure what that means. So its not really a real "The world" But we are getting there. =/

The .hack series has just started here in Canada .hack//sign to be exact. A little confusing, but it's very nice, I hope they show more of it. Frankly, I'm just glad they took away Witch Hunter Robin. That show really just didn't appeal to me and anything they replaced it with probably would've made me happy.

The artwork in the .hack series reminds me of a manga artist I know and I'm thinking that thats probably one of the reasons it appeals to me.
