    Initial D
Mountain racing has never looked better! Fujiwara Takumi is a regular high school boy, going to school, and helping his dad out by delivering tofu from their shop. One night, when the racing teams, the Akina Speedstars and the Akagi Red Suns met up at Akina, the legendary Kensuke with the yellow RX-7 gets beaten by a mysterious AE86 (Toyota Sprinter Trueno). It turns out that Takumi's just on his way home from a delivery, and is a remarkable natural driver. So begins his quest (though at first reluctantly) to be the fastest in the Gunma area.

There are subsequent "chapters" to Initial D, called stages, which is broken down into:
Initial D: First Stage (26 TV episodes)
Initial D: Second Stage (13 TV episodes)
Initial D: Third Stage (Movie Release)
Initial D: Extra Stage (2 Original Video Animation episodes)
    Initial D: Fourth Stage A.K.A. Project.D (12 TV episodes)

    Initial D Manga
The manga is certainly further ahead of the anime, but not as well known. Works are already being based on an animated 5th stage that coincides with later chapters.

    Initial D Live Action
There are also talks about a Hong Kong Live Action movie, for Initial D. Not much information is known yet.

There wasn't anything particularly new in Battle Stage, other than a re-done Kensuke vs. Takumi race in the beginning. And I think another race. But, that had nothing to do with the progression of the story. ^_^

it only featured 1 new battle with FC vs evo 3 (i think, could be wrong), it was the last battle on the ova

The Live Action movie also grossed more in the box office than Star Wars and Mr. and Mrs. Smith combined. =D

And Ryuichi is dressed like Michael Jackson. =D

Around 350 Million for Star Wars and I'm taking the guess of 280 Million for Mr. and Mrs. Smith, that's a big number! How much excactly did it make?

They did a live action for Initial D? I didn't know that, where can I get it? I love Initial D, although I haven't seen all of it.
