Oh! My Goddess Ah! My Goddess TV series

I noticed that amazon.com was selling a the new TV series of AMG. I've been out of the anime loop for awhile. Is it any good?

Please no spoilers.

P.S. Did anybody miss me?

 

Does it follow the manga pretty closely?

I'm a huge fan of the manga. Been collecting it for years. I've even got a copy of the first issue.

 

Oh! My Goodness

I am also a fan of Ah! My Goddess, the sad thing is that I only got the OVA videos , but I am fortunate enough to see the new TV series.

If you're gonna ask me, I think I like the OVA better. But I suggest that it's still worth the look

 

I went through season 1 and am on halfway on through 2.

It's really great, but don't expect this huge complex story.

It's as the description suggests. Guy calls goddess helpline by mistake, long story short he gets a real goddess to live with him. From there, it's just one crazy event after another.

Well good, sounds like people in general liked it. I think I'm going to pick up the first DVD or so and check it out. Its been far to long since I just enjoyed some good old anime. I've kinda fallen away from it lately and I've been dying to get back into it.

I just rewatched the Ah! My Goddess movie tonight. Man, its great. Nothing puts a smile on my face like Belldandy and company doing their thing.
