Yes, I'm talking to you and all who are reading. If you live in the United States you know that it's that happy time of year when we all get to vote. Wert has some advice for you.

    QUIT BEING SO G*DDAMMED STUPID!

Flush the radio ads down the toilet.

Turn off the TV and all the propaganda.

Go online and RESEARCH the issues. Be objective. Look at both sides of the argument. Educate yourself. Think critically. Plan ahead. What are the long term repercussions of this proposition? What possibilities (good or bad) are going to open up if I vote this way? What possibilities are going away by voting this way? Look beyond how this will affect you NOW and look at how it will affect you later. Make an educated decision, regardless how you feel and which way you want to vote. If you cast a vote, and you are fully informed you're empowering yourself and really making your voice heard. If you're voting only on what you hear in the news or on the radio you are doing yourself an injustice and you are spitting upon the very core ideals our country was founded upon.

Get smart! Republican or Democrat. Yes or no. Prop 8 or against it (for California). Get the complete facts and make sure that when you do vote, you're ready to let your voice be heard.

    Do you hear that Americans?

    GET SMART!

Ha ha ha ha ha...oh, just wait, we all shall. :p

I can't remember there ever being such a colossal train wreck in the transition period for an incoming President, alone. :D

I think we all have been prepared for a meltdown since 2004. It bothers me to see more people are sneering at the fact he won and may put aside some of the mistakes he makes because of pride. Who knows! -sweat-
We could possibly make a thread fussin' who was better, but for some reason Obama won so I think that would be pointless? I think there are already is one.
Let's all just put two peace fingers up and bite our cheeks for four years like we did with Bush if we don't like it :)

    Yaaay President Obaaammmma. [/dance/cough]
At least he was better than Kerry!

    Seriously? So was I.

To be honest I'm glad McCain lost. Even though I ended up voting for the bastard (which, believe me, is a shame I'll carry to the grave) I only did it because I thought, and think, an Obama presidency would/will be catastrophic. But it was a raw deal either way.

About the nicest thing I can say at this point is that I hope it won't be as bad as I fear.

Seriously? Mitt Romney? I take great pleasure in posting this video of my man making him look like a buffoon at the GOP Debates last year. Listen to what Mitt Romney has to say about going to war and then listen to the counter point provided by my man (the last Libertarian in the GOP), Ron Paul.

Rare is there a politician who doesn't somehow make a fool with themselves on TV. For someone who was telling us to not to listen to TV and it's propaganda, this sure seems very Fox News of you. ;3

    Msn, the new idiot herder.

You're a Ron Paul fan? I would never have guessed...personally, based on both the clip you posted and every other statement I've ever seen the guy make, I think a real ostrich might make a better Commander-in-Chief.

In fact, let's watch a little more from that same debate. I'd say that certainly qualifies as buffoonish. :p

    Actually, this is even better:

I think I need to go buy some tin foil after watching that clip. :dizzy2:

Ron Paul wanted to legalize marijuana. Enough said. Debate finished! :)
Besides my obvious reason for supporting Wert's opinion..I have many others to agree with him. -shrug- In some ways he was qualified but sometimes the constant 'uhhs' of nervousness rubbed me the wrong way.

Kerry was just disgusting. I say no more, but that was in 2004. Just wanted to THROW that in there for future reference..

Out of them all Hillary was the best in my eye. She was running the white house anywho with Clinton..Maybe she could have created some hysteria with the media by cheating more openly on her husband with females. That would make me happy. Jesus she is a hero. Intelligence and the ability to have a male attitude about her presidency, but hell like i said. If not Hillary, possibly Ron Paul.

Personally, like i said many a' times before. Both candidates sucked this year. People can dog on McCain but compared to many, the only bad note on his part is his vice president and everyone was like omfg, he dies and she is president. OMFG. WHAT IF OBAMA GETS ASSASSINATED? (not saying he will, please god. Don't let the cops come to my house for making racist threats on teeh 'new president'.) Welcome to hell. His VP is a dumbshit. We were just screwed.

Media. Jesus. I mean. In all truth and honesty..has anyone ever not accidentally let one go in public in a shopping mart or some junk? I mean we all gottta let one slip sometime, just long as it's not a daily dose of retarded rich ---- on our televisions and youtube channels.

Screw them all. I should be president.

speaking of which, doesn't it seem i'd be a wonderful little republican?
