Art Contests and Games anime advent callendar - post images and comments here

anime advent callendar

i know there's a plethora of contests and games at the moment, but i was thinking we could all get together and make an advent callendar of sorts. starting on dec 1, each day, someone submits a small x-mas piccy numbered from 1-25.
nothing grand or anything, 10 second sketches, banners, cg's, wallpapers, basically anything goes as long as it's christmassy.

what do you guys think?

yeah just stick it up in you're own timezones, but i suppose it would be a good idea to let ppl know when you're doing one 'cause of the time differences and all.

I would call Dec. 4, since that's my sister's birthday, but it doesn't give me any time. I don't know, I may go with Dec. 16.

 

...oh wait...I can't draw very well... :dizzy2: I was just going to put up a picture from an anime that is christmasy...or should I have my very talented friend draw something??

 

doesn't matter, you could make a walpaper or a banner out of some pics?.

i was thinking it would be hard to find someone to do the 25th. lol. nice pic ser!. looks like you spend a fair bit of effort on that one.

 

heyy can we use Anime characters in our little scenes? and is there a size format for the scenes also?

(I bet the first question is really stupid...)

XD I have a nice idea for my scene. Hopefully I have the drawing skill to do it...

Also, do the scenes have to be colored? or can they just be sketches...

 

lol. yeah you can use anime characters. there's no rules or anything like that for this, you just have a go. no size limits, although huge 6000+ pixel images that are 5x normal screen size would be annoying.
Doesn't have to be colour, sketches are fine, as are finger-paintings and anything else you can think of.

 

^_^ O.K. I'll put up the picture I have from an anime first, which I have so I can put it up for the 3rd...maybe I'll get my friend to draw something for a later date.

Edit:

-Here is Dec. 3rds picture! Ok...I didn't draw this but here's the picture anyways, I did put the Dec. 3rd on it though and I was told I could make a banner or something. I put it in this post cause I didn't want the 3rd to be after the 4th...it'ld be confussing.
