Heh, been several years since I posted here

I recently got a tablet so I've been drawing pretty much, these are some of the stuff I've drawn
(Corel Painter Essentials 2 + Photoshop CS for colouring)

I've got no idea myself. (I just came back too.) People taking a hiatus I suppose. :sweat2: What tablet are you using? The lineart for the pics are a lot smoother than what I do with mine.

Your art looks good. Very nice drawing and the color looks fine. I like the someface. It shows more emotion. Atleast I think so.

dude this is cool! u do some awesome lines! but your missing with some concepts! do more figs, use guide lines and try to pay much more time on the coloring! try to do the painter's water colors..you'll get more EXP in shadeing and gradients if you learn painting. do these and you'll be as sexy as the pussycatdollz ;D

The tablet is pretty cool. How much did you pay for it? How do you erase with it?

 

Hahah, mind explaining that a bit? Im not a professional or anything, I just draw on my spare time =)
But I still want to be 'as sexy as pussycatdollz' and whatnot so this kind of crit is great!

About the tablet, who doesnt want one? ;D Costed about..hmMMmm.. maybe ~500 $, totally worth it though.
To erase I press a small button on the back of the pen

 

Wow. That sucker is huge. I'm using the dinky 4x5 with no buttons right now. Good for sketching but I find myself going back to mouse for all the details. Makes me wonder if I got too used to the mouse.

 

Drew a picture of a friend's world of warcraft character and tried using watercolors when coloring, pretty nice result imo
But maybe I suck ass, I dont know, here it is =P

 

Cool. What race is the character? Haven't played warcraft since the original. :sweat:

To be blunt, I don't like the colors or shading at all. The colors are all too soft and blend together too much (Pastels on an orc? Whaa?). There's also no shadows at all. There's no deep, shadows or contrasting highlights. Nothing. There's some slight shading, but that's about it.


Sketch is fine though...
