avatar help

so i'm kinda new around here,is there any way to use your own avatars without usuing the default ones that boards.jp has already provided us?,like uploading one from the computer

 

Go to your User CP (Control Panel) under the actually Control Panel. You shall see the Settings and Options then click on Edit Avatar. Scroll down and hit the browse button or put in a URL. Keep in mind these are the requirements 64 by 64 pixels and 19.5 KB or less. It won't let you put one up if you don't match it. Use GIF then you will be okay.

 

I thought that you couldn't use a custom avatar until you are a power user?
You can also go to quick Links and the user cont---listen to Basher I suck at directions, you'll find yourself in Canada if you make me explain stuff.

Forgot that it has been so long. Not to much of a requirement.

 

oh,so you have to be a power user to have that feature?,like do you have be here for sometime to use custom avatars?

 

If you read the link in Bashers post then you should be have all the info you need to become a power user. But the main points are:
1. You have to be a member of the site for 100 days
2. You have to make 250 posts
3. You need 50 positive reputation points.

 

Actually, it's only 90 days, but I doubt anyone's gonna go mad over a 10 day difference...

I remember back in my newbie days, trying to get that good ol' custom avatar. I guess it pays off!

No, it's 100 days. I remember from *my* newbie days. I counted.

Because the update scripts don't run instantly, I had to wait 101 or 102 days for mine though. ;_;
