Comics Battle for the Cowl

I've recently been piecing together a legacy collection of modern Batman. With his recent "death" in Final Crisis, there's an event of sorts going on that will determine who will taking over the cape and cowl.

For someone who's been out of touch for a while, I figured BftC would make an excellent jumping on point. Especially with DC posed to raise their Bat-titles to a whopping total of EIGHT ongoing titles starting June.

In any case, I've picked up 2 of the 3 issues of the miniseries thus far (and a few backups) and I'm ejoying it thus far. The plot isn't exactly stellar, and fans are ripping it apart for some poor characterizations, but I'm personally enjoying it as I would a fast-paced action movie.

Anyone else following it?
