Battle Of The Planets

HEY whats up, i have a question based on the original battle of the planets series, old and distorted as the show is, isn't there any kind of program software that what ever company chooses to work on it in the near future can fully restore it, can that be done with any time of animated software, or couldn't it becase of its picture quality

 

I`m sure it can be done, they`ve done it to a lot of the older Transformers stuff, remastered it and all. The usual problem with this sort of thing is who owns the licence, and the original videotape.
