Cosplay and Conventions Best Cosplay

The Misao was alright. And the Merle was close. She just shouldn't have looked so happy, lol.

 

lol, the one with cloud in rules, they must have soem nerve to dress up like that, tifa looks a bit like laura croft, but thats the best, to me

 

I have been to a few anime conventions... and i have seen some of the worst cosplay eva!!!! Excellent Cosplay is rare now-a-days. Of course, i just go to see what all different things they have out for that convention. I have never cosplayed...

 

She told me that's becuase she loves to ahve her picture tooken. Taht's why she always looks so happy, it's in the pictures. But if you saw her Jiberial ones, she doens't look happy at akll, nope, she looks emotionless and tired.

Aerith looked like that princess f*** off of that stupid Power Rangers Wild Force (the face, and expression! Not the outfit, but the face and expression!!! EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW)

 

the best cosplay i ever saw was a girl doing Vash the stampede. she had the whole thing from a real red leather trenchcoat, to the actual sunglasses. she also had Wolfwood's cross punisher.

 

I have seen a LOT of wonderful, wonderful, wonderful cosplay!! You just have to take all of the bad with the good.

The best cosplayer i have seen was someone who went as Ashton from star ocean the 2nd story. He had the liitle dragonds and for his performance he got someone to go behind him and act them ^_^ hes my hero. Then again there are others.....im gonna stop there.

 

There's good cosplay out there... just not as much as the bad stuff. :catgirl: But people do it for fun! And they look (or atleast think they do) good! ^_~

 

it's really hard to find good cosplay these days. i have some good out fits if i do say so. i have a miroku and a ranma boy type/girl type and a ryouga. on the ranma the hair changes coler with warm and cold water. and the breasts inflate and deflate with warm and cold water. so you literally change with water. very expensive.

Wow!! That is very nice, i really like the Rikku one from FF X-2, it is reallly good!!!

Wonder how they got it so perfect.

 

Most of those look profressionally done. I.E. using models and a bit of a hefty budget. Still damn impressive though. Especially the one of Rikku from FFX.

 

The first one (Mai) looks pretty accurate. CCS Sakura looks pretty good for someone who's a lil too old to cosplay a young character. There's a book at Borders Books & Music with lots of good cosplayers, including a really good CCS Sakura complete.

I think it's unanimous that Japanese people make the best cosplayers (not just cuz they put in the effort to make the costume look good, but cuz they have the right body and face to go with the anime look).

 

Very true, i agree.

I know of a few white people that are excellent cosplayers though.

It all depends on the costume and person your goin as, i think.

Like, i have tried out my Ivan Issac's costume from Ushicon, and i personally think i look great. But, im not done yet, not at all, i still need the cross scar on my forhead, but that is gunna be last minute. lol.

Well, thats just my opinion.

 

Very very sexeh! Everyone looks in proportion. and the costume quality is needless to say. The doa girls and Sakura are dead attractive.
