Well, my uncle is a bit of an artsy type of person, so every week (usually) he's been having my sister and I (and he participates as well) in creating certain projects. This week: Create, from food items, boxes, wrappers, etc. any piece of art. This is what I came up with:

The three layers of the wings are from a box of cheap-o Spanish Rice

The two layers of the tails are from a box of Past-A-Roni, White Shells and Cheddar

The body is from a box of mini-bags microwaveable popcorn (as are the feet)

The piece of silver (tinsel) in his beak is from a 3 Musketeers bar.

Here are two previous versions of it:

This one lacks the tinsel (I hadn't bought the 3 Musketeers bar yet :p) and is much lighter on the black marker (which, now that I've already darkened it, ironically enough, I prefer much more).

This is the first end-result. Only one leg, as you can see, and only one visible toe/talon.

Pretty cool. I think it would have looked better without so many black lines all over it though.

Yeah, I completely agree with you. Looking back on it, half of the lines were a really bad idea and kind of wish I could go back and erase it, but eh. Part of art is learning from your mistakes. :p
