I'd read that you should watch the TV series up to a certain point and then just go straight for the OVAs. I'm at 35 now, should I go further?

I'd suggest to the end of the Kyoto Arc (ep 62, I think...). Pretty much every episode following the Kyoto storyline is "filler".

BakaMattSu, going with what he's heard, not what he's personally experienced...

 

After watching that far, you really oughta track down the last Manga Arc by Watsuki. It really finishes the series off with the justice it deserves...

I just know Yuji Ueda who is Sanosuke Sagara's voice, because he is my hero :catgirl:

But I don't bother myself knowing something like that.. o.o
