    Hi all -

    We're running two competitions to celebrate the launch of boards.jp yesterday!

    1. Art

    The first competition is for the best picture linked to our new name. You can use our existing mascot Miia or something entirely different, as long as there is some reference to boards.jp.

    The prize is the anime "Urusei Yatsura's Only You" by Rumiko Takahashi on DVD.

    2. Slogan

    The second competition is for the best slogan for boards.jp.

    The prize is the manga "Offered Volume 1" [Adult Content] by Kazuo Koike (Lone Wolf and Cub).

    Closing date for both competitions is 8 June 2004. You can post your entries here. There is no limit on the number of entries you can make. The decision of the admins is final.

    Just out of curiosity, what does Miia look like? You guys used to have her pic. on the portal, but obviously that's changed, so I'm just curious as to what she looks like.

    Also, is she still boards.jp's mascot?

    S'pretty much her, right there. As for *KEEPING* her, Cloud states that she's still our current mascot. It's probably better off to use a NEW mascot though, since M2A is dead, thus Miia (MIIA, if you count the "ii" as Roman Numerals, IS M2A) should be retired to the hallowed halls of fame.

    But, that's just me.

    I'm not especially serious on this. I really like some of the slogans I've already seen.
    1:
    "God save the Boards.Jp, we mean it, man."

    2:
    "Boards.Jp: It fits the rhyme scheme so well."

    3:
