Multimedia convert MKV to AVI

Hello everyone,

I bought this new DVD player which allows me to play Divx files from either a CD, DVD or USB. I love it so very much!

But I discovered that, recently, most of my downloads are all in MKV extention. Is there a good known program to convert my MKV videos to AVI?
