    Does anyone here just have a secret passion for the good ol' 80's? If so, who's ur favorite and which song?

    My favorite group right now is Queen, and my favorite song is "Seven Seas of Rhye", although "Play the Game" is another good contender. Actually, now that I think about it, I like anything by them except "Body Language". "Seven Seas of Rhye" is still definitely my favorite, though.

    Dude! Anything Queen is a classic! Of course, their best song comes from 1977, the Queen II album, that song being Ogre Battle.
    As for the 80's, I'm a bigger fan now than I was back then. Of course, the decade ended when I was six, so it's understandable. Thomas Dolby's She Blinded Me With Science is infinitely fun, and A Flock Of Seagulls' I Ran (So Far Away) is great as well. And let's not forget Metallica's One and everything AC-DC and U2 did back then.

    How could I have forgotten The Ramones? I should be shot for that one ... or at least impaled on someone's mohawk. The 80's initiated the punk movement. Where would I be without that? Still listening to Kid Rock, I guess ...

    Yep. I kinda liked the whole 80's thing, but I always seem to lean towards the groups that were formed in the 70's but whose music didn't become real popular until the 80's. Like Queen, Styx, Journey, KISS (always was great), etc.

    My favorite song from each is:

    **** man, the 80's ruled.
    I'd find it kinda odd if someone didn't listen to some music from the 80s.
