That was a hard choice, 'cuz I luv watching Disney movie almost as much as I luv anime. I gotta say Mulan! Maybe the reason I like Mulan the most is 'cuz I'm Asian. I watch Mulan all the time!

The Little Mermaid. Wanna know how much I love that movie? I love it so much I remember seeing it in the cinema when I was two. I even saw the sequel and I still like it anyway!! Now if that's not devotion I don't know what is....other favourites include:
Mulan, The Emperors New Groove, Aladdin, The Lion King, Finding Nemo, Monsters Inc...too many! I love em.
Oh, and sequels should be banned and punishable by burning at the stake. I mean it :anger2:

My all-time favorite Disney movie is Beauty and the Beast. I love the backgrounds paintings, especially at the beginning.

What about The Black Cauldron? That movie was great ...
Okay, I'm kidding. Terrible adaptation of a brilliant novel.

It was a very difficult choice between The Lion King and Beauty And The Beast. TLK won in the end, mostly because it had such great songs. Beauty and the Beast was an extremely interesting movie, and Gaston is still my favourite Disney villain (because he's not actually evil, he's just a ****). Still, TLK drew on bits of many classic works for its plot, and that just made it more interesting. Also, it's an original story, so that means it's not just another bastardization of a classic.
Oh, and the video game was fun.

I liked Mulan, though in typical disney fashion they missed the main point of the plot, that is, she DID have her families permission (no true chinese girl would run away from a good home) and that it was all about filial piety. (some chinese, and japanese, and (come to think of it) other asian girls of good families did learn martial arts and battle tactics, -if their father or husband died it was their duty to lead the army...this is what the story was about)

My life long fave is not one of the better disneys, it is Aristocats, but an original story based upon a famous absurdist premise....
