Anime Flame of Recca - 01

"Hime (Princess) and Ninja Powers Awaken!!"



Hanabishi Recca is a young Japanese man who has trained himself in the skills of the Ninja. He is unaware that he is actually a descendant of a famous tribe of Ninja warriors from 400 years in the past, and has been sent through time to the present. Recca saves a young woman, Sakoshita Yanagi, and some children from some falling logs, but is himself injured in the rescue. While unconscious, Recca dreams of a princess ("Hime" in Japanese) and wakes to the same face, that of the girl he saved. She uses some strange power to heal his wounds, and they become friends.



Recca brings the girl to a deserted warehouse to show her some fireworks that his dad makes but there they are attacked by a shadow woman, Kage Houshi, who tries to get Recca to use his "Flame" ninja skill, a power he did not realise he possessed until pushed to use it.
