Anime Flame of Recca - 04

"Labyrinth of Mirrors - The Flame's Do or Die Spirit!!"

Recca has been defeated by Tokiya, and lies battered and bruised after the battle. Tokiya leaves Recca alive when Yanagi appears on the scene - she reminds him of his own sister. He says that they will meet again so that he can find out how Recca is linked to the people who killed his sister.



A rematch takes place in a local fairground's House of Mirrors. Tokiya use the mirrors as decoys to fool the Ninja into attacking them instead of him, and he seems to be about to defeat Recca again. The Ninja breaks most of the mirrors and then manages to reverse the trick on Tokiya to win the fight. Kage Houshi appears again and explains that she has been pitting the youngsters against each others so that they will be able to defeat another Hokage Ninja who is so powerful that they will need all their combined strength to survive. She whispers to herself "My Beautiful Son" and we realise that Recca is actually her son, sent into the future 400 years by her.
