Video Games guess

Alright, alright, i'll give you another game to guess. The answer to the previous one was Putty or Super Putty as it became known on the SNES.

OK heres a new, i think this one should be a little easier, if not then i have a few nice clues to help you along. But for now its just the pic.

Looks a bit like Earthbound or Robotrek, but I can tell it's neither. A hint would be nice.

I'm usually under the impression that you have to guess something before you have a hint. Anyway, i'm going to give one hint, on this and then i'm just going to toss the game to whoever wants it.

The game was released on the Snes by Konami. This game was pretty big in Japan, and as such there where about 9 games released in Japan (although not all on Snes, and they weren't all top down shooters). Only about 1 of these made it to the US and 3 managed to make it to Europe. The main thing that people noticed about the games where that they were cute, and as such where given the title "cute em up" by fans.

Now get searching, you'r probably going to have to work for this one!

This is an SNES RPG that was released only in Japan in 1996 by Enix (now known as Square Enix).

Easy enough with the information I just gave.

 

DAMN! I know that game! For the life of me I can't remember the name!

The only names that come to my mind are Romancing SaGa 3 (not it for sure), and Star Ocean.

 

Nope, neither. If it helps, the game's title is pretty much in Japanese (unless you, y'know... translate it...) but it's mostly known by the Japanese title.
