.hack//SIGN news...?

    I have no idea if this is accurate or not...but check out http://www.tokidokijournal.com/issues/animeexpo/ , Expo news is saying that....

    ...is there any truth to that statement?

    On another note...looks like DNA^2 has also been licensed. Groups name is CPM? Anyway, looks like they got the rights to the whole season and the OVA.

    OK, here's what I've culled from elsewhere. There was a three-episode OVA and a TV series. The OVAs will only be available with the games. The TV series will receive a regular DVD release by Bandai Entertainment USA.

    edit: Rumor is that the TV series will begin US release in February, because a press release said that the first game was going to be held back until then to coincide better with the release of the TV series.

    hmm..never knew it was split like that...tho i had heard that about the release, so...the english version of the game is coming out? kick butt..*^-^*

    in thoery we have it all..about 25 eps or so....just need to copy them now...can't wait for it to be officially out tho...

    Mord, you do know it was DNA^2 he was talking about. That's only 15 eps, the last 3 of which are an OVA, but there doesn't seem to be much distinction between them.

    well i just watched hack sign ep 6 on my tv (i love TV OUT :) ), was pretty cool, can't wait for more.

    although I am incredibly confused hehe, maybe i ought watch 1-5 again

    Yes kiddies, that's right, A half hour dvd will be included with every dot hack installment. And there will be four installments. Thusly, there will be four dvd's included in the dot hack saga.

    i recently found out that saying it as dot hack is a shortened form of the title is all...like saying larc instead of larc en ciel...short and easy...*^-^*

    dot Hack is the name of the game...thats how its being released here in america. and anyway, it wasnt bold, it was size. I made it little Dot and huge Hack. Pardon me for being creative =p

    Well I am becoming a hardcore fan of .hack series. I will give you guys a heads up on whats going on.

    Series Titles of .hack:
    .hack//sign
    .hack//liminality
    .hack//infection ( Official English Title, different from Japanese Title )
    .hack//dusk ( This is the short term in English. The real title is some hard title to memorize .. )

    .hack//sign - 26 Part TV Series ( 26 / 26 are released )
    .hack//liminality - 4 Part OVA ( 2/ 4 are released )
    .hack//infection - 4 Part Ps2 Game ( 1 / 4 are released )
    .hack//dusk - The manga, # of issues is unknown. But the manga volume #1 is available in Japan. ( 1 / ?? are released )

    Release Date:
    In February, .hack//infection is being released along with the OVAs. Each Ps2 game comes with 1 episode of the OVA. Hence there will be 4 Ps2 Games, and 4 OVAs. Each OVA corrosponding with its Ps2 counterpart.

    Summary:
    So far OVAs 1 and 2 are released in Japan. OVa # 3 and 4 will not be released until the Ps2 game is released.
