It is coming out mid-2007 so far.

* The title of the book will not be "Harry Potter and the Pyramids of Furmat."

* There will be no character named "Icicle," and JK said that she didn't recall saying there ever would be.

* Dumbledore is not Harry's relative.

* Harry is not related to Voldemort and he is not related to Salazar Slytherin.

* Lily Potter is not alive.

* Lily was not a Death Eater.

* No prequel books are planned (no books before Harry's time at Hogwarts).

* Crookshanks is not an Animagus.

* Neville is not the son of Peter Pettigrew.

* Remus Lupin does not have a twin brother.

I am looking forward to it. I have been reading/watching Harry Potter for years.

We all have heard the warning on what will happen to both Harry and Voldermort.

To bad that this is supposed to be the end.

I plan on reserving mine via Wal-mart. What is everyone else's plan?

 

I'll probably go to walmart as well, since it would be cheaper than B&N probably.

 

Im just going to go down the shop on the day of release and buy it, theyve never been really sold out over here, they always have loads of them .

I hope theres more of Crookshanks in this one, i always likes that little furball, the description on him in the third book always reminded me of Bagpuss.

It's been confirmed for a while now... I reserved my copy in the beginning of December from Borders and it was the Deathly Hallows then... maybe I should have posted when this thread was started lol

 

21st July has been anounced as the date that the final book "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows" will be released.

The covers for the UK and US editions of the book have been finally released. I have to say that there are curtain parts of the covers i like. I like the style of the UK childrens edition, but i also like the way that Valdamort was placed on the cover of the american edition. I think that he should have been on the UK one since this is going to envole a lot about him.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Sounds like "whoooo eee ouuu eee oooo" Kind of mysterious doesn't it? I can't wait to read it though, Ill be staking out walmart.

 

There isn't to many days left until this book is out. I am so standing in line to buy it.

I'm currently doing the traditional reading the last novel before the next one comes out on saturday. Since i'm such a slow reader i'm thinking of calling in sick on Monday if i don't have the book finished before the end of the weekend.

 

Mahaha me too. If I worked I would have called in sick also. But instead I have to take a test for two days three hours each. Rather annoying.

Can't help it that there is a geek in me too.

 

Is it bad that I want Harry to wake up in the end as a baby and it all have been a very crazy dream?

 

LOL I JUST got a call from waldenbooks with a recording of this old english guy, who is apparently the narrarator for the audio version of the book. Anyways, it said that my copy would be available at 12 between Friday and Saturday... but it was quite enjoyable and quite funny lol

 

Hey i ordered mine from Walden books I want a phone call too. Blamey. That is just....bloody hell...I don't know.

 

Saying this before the book comes out...

I believe Dumbledore is evil...Nuff said.

Edit: I have no life... I'm reading the leaked copy...But I'm still going to buy the book.

Because he was to important to live. there was so much angst floating around what side he was on. she sent him out gloariously. I also hated that part of the book but i loved how she honored him in the end.
