Cosplay and Conventions Have you ever been to an Anime Convention?

No but i have got to get to one right away -_- i need my anime!

 

Yes I've been to every anime convention except the first one. It's really fun! I can't wait for next year's!!

 

And hopefully, couple years from now it'll be even more pwned when Mustang and Hughes are being followed by a hawt Hawkeye.

Anyways; Wewt, anime-a-thon is coming up!! xD i ahve to buy my Riza costume quick...but I'm wondering if I should anymore...cause then i'll have almost NO money for the actual convention. xD

Wahhh...I can't go to Animethon...they've having it while I'm in Ontario this year. ;.; boo hoo... at least I didn't waste my money buying a costume I wasn't gonna wear...

 

Because .... it's coooossssplayyyyyyy -.-' it's just not natural.

 

I take that as an insult ya know. cosplay is really fun and can be cool depending on how well it's done. :/ It's like..Halloween anytime you feel like it but with hugs and rapid fangirl/boys taking pictures instead of candy.

Connecticon was a blast. I took tons of pictures of cosplayers because well, I told them I was part of the Boards.jp photography. I'll make a thread for myself soon..And No, sadly i didn't go as Jibril. T_T I stuck with my usual CatGirl ears. =)

 

I was at every Anime Boston Convention! They were so awsome and fun! I took tons of pictures!

 

I finally went to one and cosplayed for like an hour lol... I was a shinigami with no swor dcause my sword was one of the ones that wasnt allowed lol. I went to AFO7 and that was an awesome experience... great times... great times....

Ive been the the recent anime expo in CA, LA! omg! last year was my first year and i cosplayed as one of the state alchemists ^^ then this year i tried to dress up as that one pink haired guy from Sukisho...and my bf went as the blue haired guy...we were gay for each other!!! i loved it!

 

NO! I haven't! Stop rubbing it in my face your mutant quadreped!!!!!

In all seriousness, I don't have a car yet, so I can't get a ride there. Unless I go with total strangers which I don't mind...but my parents would. Im trying to go next year, a couple hours away, to Anime Boston. Ive been invited tons of times, but I don't want to sleep in a room with guys and a girls I don't know...Ill go soon. Just can't let parental figure bots find out what "Hentai" means.

 

haha!!! that's true! well, im lucky cuz my parents speak espanol so they dont really care about 'weird cartoons with messed up spiky hair' ^^ but damn! you got invited to sleep at the convention?! damn i would be like hell yeah! ive been begging my mom but she'll only let me if one of my sisters go...damn...and they're all older than me and have a life! lol but im going next year if you lived close to me I'd give you a ride to next year's but i dont think we live close...:sweat2:

Sigh, next year, I think I'll go to Animethon with my best friend, since we're graduating next year and it might be our last time to do anything together. =) (well actually, she's the only high school friend I plan on keeping in contact with :3)

i dont really know who i cosplayed as but towards the end i chose mustang >< hope you and your friend have fun together ^^

 

I haven't actully gone to a convention but i'm going this year since i'm going to be 13.

I'm even cosplaying but right now i'm stuck i thought i was going as Sakura at first but now I cant decide.Yes i know there are alot of sakuras in the anime world but i'm talking about Haruno Sakura from Naruto.any idea anyone to who i should go as?
