Computers Help me! Problems with my internet connection...

    Right, so this is VERY frustrating... I hope someone can help!

    See, I just got a laptop last month, and just got DSL as well around the same time. My PC is plugged into the wall and DSL modem, and the internet is never malfunctioning on it. But my laptop picks up the wireless signal, and lately it has not been able to "connect to the wireless network." If you try pinging it, it loses all the packets. But it's picking up the signal strongly. (the little green bars are full up.)

    So I called Sony because I was hopeless after a while, and they made me do like a million things to it, and for some reason after I reset and reinstalled my dsl connection on my PC, it started working. A couple days later for no reason it started not being able to connect again. The LAN switch is on. I tried uninstalling firewalls/virusprotection/etc. I don't know what to do!

    you'll just have to learn to reset the DSL modem from time to time...
    same thing happens to cable modems sometimes
