Hi everyone, after some help please

There are so dvds out there that I am a bit confused,

What I would really like is the complete first series (105 episodes I believe), uncut so no 7Zark7! With either english sound or english subtitles?

Where can I buy them (I live in the UK by the way)

Or download them as a torrent? (cheapskate!)

I've been checking around, but I don't think what you're looking for is available. I'm pretty sure you can get all 105 episodes on DVD, but it's in Japanese with no English at all. The only ones available with straight English translation are either the ones contained in the first six volumes of "Battle of the Planets" or the news "Gatchaman" sets being released by ADV.

There are the Hong Kong bootlegs. These are Gatchaman with subtitles. However, the picture and sound quality on some of the episodes is poor, and the quality of the subtitles is also amusingly bad.

The ADV dvds will be a better buy, being legitimate and better quality.

 

I have just ordered the first volume of the ADV dvd, six english pounds off amazon including delivery from the US to england.

Now all I have to do is wait and then work out how to get my UK DVD player to play US dvd's...........................

Can't wait so see all the missing bits!
