Movies Hostel

Is this the new Quintin Tarranteno movie, maybe its not his own personal one but i think he had some involvement in it, at least thats what i read. If it is then that means that i'm going to have to accompany my firend to see it since he's a masive Tarrenteno fan.

 

I gave up on Tarantino after Kill Bill's. And from the trailer, this movie looks preety bad. And I hate movies that start out like porno when they're not even porn. Especially if you have to watch it with someone else, let alone a whole movie theater of people....

I may see this movie...even though I hate most of Tarantino's work but meh..I will be accompaniend by..some certain lady friends..that spook very easily XD.

 

A quick warning for those that haven't seen it yet (since I just saw it), I don't know how this movie managed to get away with an R-Rating. This movie is way too gory for an audience, and in actual fact, just plain stupid.

If people want a good gore fest that's rated R, and has good storyline, watch SAW II. This movie will only make you want your eight dollars back (Yes, eight! oO). And your two hours also!

Is the only point to this movie watching gory scenes? Cuz' thats all ive been hearing lately. "Oh! That movie was so sick! you gotta go see it!"

And here's my response as to it starting as a porno.

If i wanted to see a porno, I would stay home on the computer...not go to the movies and be uncomfortable as dozens of people watch it with me. Thanks!

Is it really that bad? Obviously I haven't seen it. Though a lot of people told me it was "gory, but good" But nevermind I guess I'll watch something else.

 

Goodness gracious...when I first saw the trailer for this movie, it freaked the crap out of me and I had difficulty sleeping for a day or two... >>

The trailers disgust me. I mean...usually I liked the tied and gagged bondage, but I can't stand torture, esp. THIS kind of toture. It makes me sick (mentally and physically). Mutilation makes me sick to my stomach esp. (I would NEVER be able to watch Saw for the scene where he saws his own leg off...)

Thank god other people think it's god awful too, my friends ahve all been all "Looks great/AWESOME! OMFG QUENTIN I LOVEE!!!! MUST SEE!!!!" -_-

Seishin, what kind of rating did you think it deserved instead? NC-17 or whatever it's claled?

Oh, appartently, Kane, the wrestler from the WWE, is in the movie, as one of the torturers. (fits right in i say... <_<)

 

Yeah. NC-17 most definetly. But, when you go into the matters that 9/10 of that stuff is all fake, and there's really no 'exposure' that would take it into adult matters, they got a lucky break.

Nevertheless, it's really reccomended that you really are seventeen or older for this one, or at least have a good level of maturity, and of course, a strong stomach.

Definetly no one fifteen and under should see this.

I saw Gladiator when I was 9 or something, and it was easy to take, but this....

Like I said, Saw II is definetly much better. There's a lot of 'sick' things going on in the movie and such, but it's not just to show off how sick a mind can become, it has an exellent plot, right up even to the end.

I must add in... I loved the Kill Bill movies, they are my favorite two movies. So STFU. Erm..

I thought the first Saw wasn't that great at all. The second on the other hand was great.

I really wanted to see this movie, but our local Theater didn't show it because of the gore. Our Theater really sucks.. doesn't show a lot of movies because they are hard core Christians and well they can't afford some movies.

I still want to see this movie. Gore never bothers me, it turns me... um.. j/k.

 

Bottom line is, that movie could have been way better,if you ask me!!!!Shoot,ask anybody!!!

 

It has a basic plot.
You got a load of rich dudes who wish they could be surgeons or someone with the thirst for blood and carnage. (I’ll call them buyers from now on). The hotel Hostel convinces people to come to their hotel.
The buyers examine them on the train, at the hotel or the club which the hostel people take them too.
While the buyers examine them, the Hostel people stall them and make sure they don’t leave.
Note that not all buyers examine them but some decipher over nationality.
When they are chosen the Hostel guys drug them and destroy all traces of them being there and make out that they left.
The buyers then have them alone with all sorts of weaponry.
And can slice and dice the subject at any pace.
Basically they are aloud to do anything to the subjects’ body.
When the subjects’ killed, some guy burns them all.
So basically its rich dudes killing guys what were found and were convinced to come to the hotel hostel.
That makes out for okay horror film, YAY but ends up as a nay.

Its starts out as a womanizing sex fest and the guys are lured into the hotel hostel by SEX how fricken surprising.
You quality of filming makes it seem like some friends have gathered together to make a movie.
(The nub-chickens.)

And I don’t know what the Japanese girl was thinking. (She was Japanese right?)
My right eye is gone. I am ugly, I must kill myself. So I can save this basterd I hardly know. Oh a trains coming perfect, SPLAT.
Correction: Ran, Jump, Scream/SPLAT.

Come on a guys’ friend who screwed you best friend saved you.
You only know him coz you asked him where you mate was and because he saved you.
Okay I wouldn’t kill myself for that even though he saved me.
You could of instead since the cops weren’t after you you walk on by with a trolley full of luggage and he crouch on the other said that would of might of worked.
Least then two survivors.
YaY two buggers I don’t know survived total carnage.

I can’t remember my other comments so I’ll just leave it as that.

It wasn't that bad. Though he should've left it off as the documentary, which is how it started... but then again that would've been much worse for his life and his health. He was already getting into **** for trying to delve too far into that sadistic, dark world in Europe. He being Eli Roth, that is.

But eh. Looks like we've got ourselves here a bunch of regular junior Eberts.

 

ugh...quite honestly I expected better from Quentin Tarantino...his portfolio is full of really great films. *shakes her head* i thought this movie was going to be great, too. damn.

 

You people... do you even know what Quentin Tarantino did in this film?

He was one of EIGHT producers, and he PRESENTED IT. That is ALL. So STOP blaming all of your bullcrap reasonings on Quentin Tarantino because he had little to do with the film. You want to blame someone? Blame the idiot who made that piece of crap, Cabin Fever. Eli Roth. He was the ONLY person to WROTE AND DIRECTED this film. Next time you want to trash talk about a movie, at least know a modicum about it.

i sooo agree w/ u on that. but it still was a pretty crapppy movie. Taking into consideration that i LIKED cabin fever..id say ur a very very honest person. maybe TOO honest 2 say the least about ur " blame the idiot who made that piece of crap" remark. but i like u. VERY NICE. LOL ^_~
