    Greetings from Jacobus Kahunamea, the Botavenger (mwahaha!)

    You folks have/had a wiki at http://www.boards.jp/wiki/index.php/Main_Page

    I was fighting evil spambots which I pursued Van Helsing-like to that address. Much blood has been spilt battling the evil, which is now nearly at bay.

    (OOT: If you want to re-claim it, I cleaned the articles. A little ban-and-delete would make it useful again. If you don't intend to use it ever again, let me know so that I can concentrate on fighting Evil elsewhere.):)

    BTW- Is there a picture of the Evil Kawaii Dolls of Doom? They sound like friends of mine.

    You fight a worthy crusade, avenger. Unfortunately, wherever there is text, there are spam-bots, and I fear your noble efforts may never reach a definite conclusion.

    If it is possible to reclaim our Wiki from the clutches of evil it would be a miracle of unrivaled purity. I would love to see it restored to a semblance of functional quality, but had thought it beyond salvation.

    Wiki

    Then I ask you to loan me the Sword of the Sysop, that I might cast the enchantment of the ban about these evil things, and indeed feed them to the Evil Kawaii Dolls of Doom

    (Also, if a wiki becomes more active, these attacks tend to fade off after a while.)

    Oct.8-
    The wiki has been assaulted by a virtual storm of the same evil 'bots. I have been cleaning the same articles over and over.

    If someone with could give my account Sysop, or give that to anyone willing, it would save having to do the same work over and over.

    Please let me know if you want my help.

    Your wiki is relatively clean again, however briefly.

    To keep it that way, I need Sysop powers for the wiki, or someone with sysop needs to patrol it.

    I have a couple of riends who have expressed a willingness to help.

    Update:

    Well, the articles have all been cleaned again, the empty pages are de-spammified, and 89 "User:Buy Drugs" flies have been re-directed to Hell to be eaten by the Evil Kawaii Dolls of Doom.

    Best I can do without the magic sword.

    and it's associated discussion page are loaded with goodies to stop 'bots.

    Maybe Cloud or someone could use this to fix the wiki.

    It is still claen as of Oct. 21 '09.

    Cloud appears to be MIA at the moment, but I'm hoping to get you that Knife of +9 vs. Spammers as soon as possible.

    Well, we had about a month of peace, but the 'bots are coming back again.

    If any other folk would like to check the wiki occasionally, and simply restore the articles as they are defaced, 'twould help.
