Creative Writing I could

Writer's block in the flesh..gawh.

I could

I could get stones thrown at me
I could wear a crown of thorns
My home could set afire
I would just sit and watch it burn

Nothing could make me hate
Since I found love in my heart
They can't take you away from me
Nothing can keep us apart

I'll smile when I speak your name
Just knowing that you're mine
Ask me if I love you, as much as you want
I'll answer it the same way every time

I thought I was in love a million time
Yet, it feels like the very first
I know you've been heart-broken
Just know, your heart i'll never heart

I've had alot of screw-ups in my life
I'll try to leave that in the past
I could never say goodbye'
We COULD make this last

We will.
