    Y'know what I've *always* wanted?

A '53 Buick Skylark, but instead of this red, a deep blue. And a coupe, not a 'vertible.

I've always been a fan of these styles. Maybe one day soon. I remember when I first got my license, these types of cars were the first ones I looked at...then found out how much it costs to restore. :(

Bash, I love those year Impalas. Generally anything from that time period looks good. In that same, "era", I've always loved the Mustang Fastback. <3

I wouldn't want performance parts. I'd either want authentic original parts (considering the interior) or very good facsimiles of them (considering the engine). The only thing I'd "upgrade" would likely be the suspension, wheels, and brakes (drum brakes are teh uber lose).

    About Fast and the Furious...

...one of my boardmates on 8thcivic is actually going to appear in the movie. Actually, his car is. We are currently teasing him because he drives the lowest purchasable model Civic (LX/DX) instead of an Si. Right in line with F&F tradition. :D

My Civic Si "tops" at 137mph on an airfield.

It's not made to be a "fast" car though, even with 200hp on a fairly light car (considering all the safety stuff in it). It's the fact that my car revs up to 8000rpm, has a pretty twitchy steering feel, etc. that make it FUN to drive, which is more important to me at this stage than a fast car.

BTW, lots of german sports cars all rev up to 8k. Nice inclusions in this list are:
    -Honda S2000
    -Mazda RX-8
    -BMW M3
    -Porsche Carrera GT4 RS
    -Ferrari F430
    -Audi RS4/S4/S5
