It hardly fills my void..considering I wouldn't be able to read anything to understand what's going on, even *if* I managed to get ahold of a copy of any of 'em...

BakaMattSu, Dating sims are kewl and all, but do they truly make you happy?

yes dating sims fulfill me. I find them an acceptable alternative to having a real life.

Baka- in case you think I am serious and you're not pulling the double sarcasm on me, take nothing I say about dating sims seriously. Same goes for anyone else reading this [IMG]

Double sarcasm...Would I do a thing like that? [IMG]

BakaMattSu, and you thought your lack of a girfriend was due to fact you could completely explain the psychological aspect behind the AT field... [IMG]

hehe, the cause is not my ability to explain the psychological aspects behind the AT field, it's just the psychological aspects of the AT field.

Although, you could argue that my being able to explain them does make me more of a nerd and might just contribute to the whole thing. [IMG]

Ahh, the explanation of the AT field [IMG]

I can just see it now: A screen saying "Hug, Kiss, Grab, Kill"(Excel reference) [IMG]

But, wouldn't this dating sim be painful? I would imagine that they would have added an arm that punches you with an accelaration of 1000 m/s^2.
(I wonder what would happen with the rom...cd's flying out of the cd drive at you [IMG])

Ahhh, the reasons why I don't have a GF yet [IMG]

    Love Hina advance: A review

Hi! I tried the game...for translation reasons I used the translated ROM of Love Hina Advance.

you go thru all the episodes, and get "hearts" for the girls by doing nice things for them. In the end, when a girl fills the "love-o-meter", you get to the end scene.

Note that if you get one angry, you get hit, and if you get hit more times than life-points you have, you lose the game.

    The goods:

    * It has audio samples of the characters.
    * It has pictures of every episode! ^_^.

    The bads:

    * The game is pretty linear... actually kinda boring. And you don't have control of the events... it would have been better if there were new scenes, extra story or something.
    * The ending sequences aren't that great. No "kiss scenes". Just snapshots (that aren't necessarily a kiss) from the actual tv series with special subtitles.

Overall rating: 4/10. Recommended only for Love Hina fanboys.

I've played it a bit. Kinda boring. It was in japanese too so just imagine.

It is not really a game it's just an 'interactive' story

I's a game only for true fans

Hmmm perhaps you should've said "no game based on an anime show". Because I've played "Anime Games" and they're quite good. Final Fantasy X (1), Final Fantasy 6, Lufia II.

Not to mention Warsong 2, Phantasy Star IV, Shining Force 1 & 2, Vay. The list goes on. 'Anime Games' are good, Games based on anime series usually aren't. And this one is no exception.

Shinryu - Seeeggaaa. (Like in the old commercials, and video games)
