    What Kame means is that Love Hina is very fan servicey. It's a little perverted (thus the "hentai-ish) but overall, it's just showing lots of panty/ofuro shots. But, what anime show nowadays isn't? It's just REALLY blatant with it, seeing as how Keitaro lives with about 7 women.

    it ain't hentai atleast

    they make those accidents happen and the result is showing a bit skin or whatever to draw attention to the little older watchers

    ok it ain't always like this but anyway it's a good way to get viewers for the creators

    Well, now that i have seen the show, and been infected by the "love hina obession" syndrome...I agree with what Izzy said :)

    I think your friends have their terms wrong, like the others have said Hentai is anime porno. I think the word they were looking for was "ecchi." Love Hina does have a few scenes like that but there is hardly any nudity compared to other anime...

    But, you're wrong too! "Ecchi" is just the japanese way of saying "H". And that just means "hentai"...which in turn means "perverse/perverted/perversion".

    But, as far as general consensus of what "hentai" is (read: anime porn, in this case), this isn't close. Just term it, "fan-service".
