Greetings everyone! This is my very first post and I thought I'd kick things off with a "mock" movie casting of who I would pick for a "Battle of the Planets" movie, should one ever be produced, (I'm praying for this day.) So without further delay, here are my choices:

elizabeth1, I actually thought your choice for Mark was better than mine, so I replaced my choice with yours, (Welling just fits in better with the cast...at least they won't have to worry about getting "Punk'd" on set):

    Svengali,

Tom Welling sure looks the part doesn't he?

If they made not one but two stupid Scooby Doo movies, why wouldn't they make a BOTP movie, it would be great.

Thats the rub....it might not be great.

I am all in favour of a BOTP movie, but the genure of turning cartoons into live actions with a few exceptions is an unmitigated flop.

Henceforth I would not wish to see it attempted.

    GIANT ROBOTS!!!!

Here is a new movie, all CGI, made purely in the studio in only 29 days for a quarter of what it should have cost. Also the villain is 15 years dead.

    It is British of course.

(I will say the critics are not amused.)

Reminds me of a chaper heading in one of my 70s SF movie books....`Anything is possible now`

    I will say `Everything is possible now`
