The ati got 256MB but with 425mhz as cloack speed, but the geforce 6600gt got 128mb with 500mhz cloack speed...btw as i read few words in that site http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/video/display/ati-radeon-x700-games.html :p as it says Ati radeon x700 better than Nvidia Geforce 660gt :)

true, but x700 doesn't have HDR(except for HDR implement by SM2.0... which isn't used much, except Source engine)SM3.0 support, and they run hot as the devil's bowels.

and ATI has a nasty habit of forgetting older chips compared to new ones

SaberShack you got question I got As

BTW.... the review states th x700 XT edition @ 475MHz core clock speed and 525MHz DDR3
the one you mentioned x700 PRO comes with 430MHz 128-bit DDR3 & Core Speed 425MHz

If you are going with nVidia then I recommend going no lower than 6800. Anything before it doesn't have the full range of shader support that this guy offers. I run a 6800 GT (256) and it runs like a champ. HL2, everything maxed, 1600x1200 w/High Def character pack = Seksi with little to no difference in performance.

It's unfortunate you can't get another $20 on there because then you could get a good 6800 or better, then again after ship and handling it'll run ya roughly $200 even anyway...

If you're sold on the 6600 then get a top of the line model- as much as you can score for the cash. I don't know much about ATI though I am looking at thier newer cards with interest. New Egg is an excellent distributer, I built my computer from parts bought from there. You can trust them to get your shizznit right and on time.

Anyone can tell me a good site that do International Shipping? (newegg.com only do USA shipping)

should i prefer the gfx card memory more than the core cloak and memory cloak?

if it is more :p it's better than it was intended

personally I got a 7800GT that originally built for 400/1000 and I bought one that ran @ 450/1050, and I have it now perfectly running @ 470/1110

Go for Radeon cards, really. The Geforce era is over :p
