but when I'm logging into another rpg sites it shows i'm logged in but i can't repley to any topics i'm just wondering is it my new comp or the sites

If so, it's most likely the parameter set. Meanining that you must first be given the privilege to post, I think.

If not, what excactly are we talking about here?

I highly doubt that your very own Desktop could stop you from posting on a site.

I made a test there, and both seem to be working.

Did you verify your account like you're supposed to?

I'm the Admin for one of the sites and I can't figure it out. He should be able to post on there and yet he can't. If you ask me its something wrong with the board but I'm not sure about that either. If you know how to fix a board on proboards, please PM me about it.

 

Try asking on their support forum. Proboards is certainly not my forte- I only have experience with phpBB and vBulletin... but are you sure you haven't accidentally changed his priveleges in any way? That you haven't accidentally banned him, or something?

 

I'm sure he's able to. Let me check for anything that I may have missed.

Anyway.. no clue but i doubt it is the websites fault because its happening on two different websites...

 

In which case it would be best to contact the Proboards support staff and ask them for advice- they'd be far, far more capable of helping you then the guesswork we can provide on this backwater little forum.

 

actual with my desk top model i have no trouble with logging in it is only on the laptop that i got that won't let me do anything

There are only two problems which I could see causing this- the first is that your laptop was somehow IP banned, preventing any account from using the forum from it, and Basher's advice should solve the other possibility.

Other than that, I will again direct you to Proboards' Support Forum. They are far more capable of supporting you than we are.

 

I just sent a PM to someone that can help there. I hope this is fixed soon.
