Well, it's still pretty good. I see what you mean, if it's no colour all the details can be seen clearly, it's always harder to adapt the same detail with colour. Still... nice job. I like the skull coming out of the whirl portal.

I tend to like the black and white comics better then everything else. Just because a lot of times color makes everything look way to "nickeloden_cartoon_like" If you know what I mean. But that pic still rocks!

PPC, you got a gallery here yet? your work is really great and I'd like to see it in a better format. (like easy view through gallery thumbnails we can enlarge). where do you draw?
If I remember correctly. I believe that Misao was one of the newest member in my time before my absence. * sniff no more Thin Yume sniff* She's an awesome artiste if I may say so myself.

Backgrounds seem to be your high point looks awesome the hair and costumes make the characters so I think you're fine at making characters also
