    SPAM defined

    On several boards we've recently had an outbreak of "Spamming"... To be fair to anyone who is unfamiliar with the use of this word, I refer you to this excellent definition:

    Well, sort of, but I let that kind of thing slide usually, 'cause you only made one post, and it did have a purpose (to thank me)...

    Now if you started going on about how your dog was feeling this morning, how cool you think eating cheese is, or just post something like "eeeeeeeeek!! took much text!"...I'd get a bit annoyed.

    To the almighty Baka:
    Do you really think SPAM is that much of a problem? I'll have to keep an eye out for that in the DBZ forum.

    hi, my name is Zub-Sero , not the one who is a charachter in Mortal Combat [​IMG] i am just a different guy, so, ummm, let's see, is spamming such a problem man, we are not kicking each other in the heads dude, welll i know now i am not spamming LOL , well i have to run, my class is running on, i will be late, and i will be punished if i am not there in T-mines -5sec LOL [​IMG] laterzzzzzzzzzzz, The Lonesome warrior is back !!!!!

    The term SPAM actually has an interesting origin. It comes from a Monty Python sketch about a restaurant that started with a small amount of Spam on the menu, but eventually kept adding more and more until the whole restaurant was full of Spam. That's where the term comes from, and that acronym there was probably made up to help people understand the nature of the beast.

    i think this has appropriate content for all the newbies to read.*^-^* soem of the vets may get some info from it too. ya never know*^-^*

    I just wanted to point out to the newbies that they should read, actualy search for threads that contain the same subject as they want to post before posting..

    For example, this link:-

    And any newbie who make the same mistake we will know that they didn't read that thread nor any noticing threads for the newbies..

    The actions will be taken by the Admins..

    ya know hon, that really has nothign to do with spamming. that's just not wanting to rut around looking for soemthing that was there before you were there. is all.
    oh and a note: i killed the spam in this thread and shall be locking it to prevent further spamming.
