I have some of the originals from 1979 and 1980 in my comic book collection, and I also bought the trade paperback that has all 10 in black and white, including the covers. I've just started reading them, and I have to say they are kind of neat. The stories are very simple and there's not continuity, but they're fun. Does anyone else have these?

Comics on DVD, huh? That's pretty modernized. One of the things I like about comics, though, is that pickle-like smell the ink gives off. You can't smell that off a DVD. Of course, who am I to discount technology...someone will make it happen.

If Zoltar wasn't enough of a goofball in "Battle of the Planets," he does himself in for these comics. I mean, laughing with a "har har har"? It's a complete night and day compared to the Top Cow comics. (One scene in mind is what he did to poor Chief Anderson up in that cabin.)
