"MUSIC FOR THE 3-RD MILLENIUM" is a compilation of different electronic
    artists tracks.

"Pacific 231" is Tomita's synth orchestration of Arthur Honneger's 1923
symphonic composition that evokes a big train engine (presumably named
the Pacific 231, you know, just like ships have names). Its a piece not
    an album.

What the Amp Records representative said in a different set of words was
that the U.K. copies of the album Tomita did this track for, "Kosmos"
left this track off. I don't know why, but I can guess the estate or
music publishers of Honnegger (who was Swiss and died in 1955) wanted
royalties RCA UK wasn't going to spend.

But, maybe the version on Amp Records will be a bit different from the
current BMG CD of "Kosmos" which is available in much of the world
    (except Japan).

No one has listened to both the track on "Kosmos" and the same track on
    "MUSIC FOR THE
3-RD MILLENIUM" to find out yet.
