The Madman

a swirling world
he tugs and pulls at his chains

chains chains chains

reality is not his keeper
illusions bind him

bind bind bind

the laugh gurgles out of him
soft and hysterical

soft soft soft

to be free
of this madness
is not a reality

waiting for
a chance to escape
to walk out the door

of his reality
chains bind soft

endless and forever
lunacy
endless and forever
