Midnight roses

Midnight roses only bloom at twilight
And I am only whole when it is night.

Celestials seem to plague my dreams,
Yet with them, it's you I see.

The sky cries, and the moons howls.
This noises known to clockwork owls.

Thorns and vines caress my skin,
Flesh and flesh, bound as kin.

We are one, these roses and I.
One beneath a velvet sky.
