J-Rock Porno Graffiti

    Great name for a band, no?

    I just got a hold of a few of the Porno Graffiti albums. They are great! My favourites are most likely Tsukigai, Hitori no Yoru, and possibly Music Hour. The whole "hellllloooo, this is Porno Graffiti music hour" is a bit crazy at first but the rest is awesome.

    What do you think of them? Surprising how there wasn't a thread on them before!

    Edit: Got the name wrong first time, it's "graffiti", my bad.

    To tell you the truth, I've only heard of them about once or twice, because when someone says to you "Have you heard of Porno Graffitti?", preety much your reactions make you say "I didn't watch any Porn!". But after reading this post, i decided to give the titles that you posted a try for quick download. They did take a while to download, but i got to hear 'em both, and i think they're great!

    I like "Tsukigai" the best, it sounds really cool. It's funny, i've never heard from them before, yet they sound good..

    At any rate, i DO think that Porno Graffitti is a good name for a band, even though it sounds kinda wrong for people that don't know it's a band.

    And yes, it is surprising (at least to me) that there wasn't a thread to this before. Thank you for such a grat thread!

    Well, I first heard of Porno Graffiti when I watched the first episode of FMA. "Melissa" was one of the first anime openings I'd sit and watch all the way through without jumping ahead to the episode.

    I like listening to Mienai Yume and Hard Days Holy Night. I really like Music Hour, lol. It's funny, I have the COMPLETE SINGLES CD but I didn't know what most of the songs were called since most song titles are in Japanese kanji. So the songs I like ont hat cd are Music Hour (it's track 5 but in Japanese).. I really like the songs on their 4th Single. Track 7 is Hitori no Yoru. I also really like Century Lovers (track 12) and track 9 and track 16. I still think my fave song is "Melissa".

    PG also named a song after me.. haha.

    My favorite PG single is Lack, no doubt. Some evillity in those lyrics! >=D

    Alike Ciel, I first heard this great band when i watched FMA. From then on I knew there was greatness in them so I started to listnen the rest of their work. I love this band!

    lol.. I didn't know Hitori no Yoru is Great Teacher Onizuka's second opening theme! I guess I do learn something new every day.

    Well, it's been a while since i posted on this thread. But now that i've gotten to know this band a bit more, i gotta admit, this band is preety good. Still, my number one song will always be "Melisa". It's just the best there is!

    I *finally* started to listen to PG, despite my "Should I or should I not, I will leave it for tomarrow" status. But hey, I am not disappointed, they are really good. I like "Libido", really catchy song.

    My personal favorite PG song: Ore, Tenshi. Heard it after buying their Best Blue's [sic] album; I liked it so much that I felt compelled to translitterate the lyrics. I also reccomend Mahoroba and Uzu.

    I too caught on to Porn Graffitti when I watched FMA... I havn't heard an awaful lot from actually but what I've already heard is good. Menai Yume and Neomelodramatic being my favourite.

    Will add more when I've heard more.

    Ah, sigh. I admit I also knew Porno Graffiti from FMA. Anyhow, though I can't decide between Music Hour, Melissa and Hitori no Yoru, I'd go for Melissa.
