I first noticed when I was looking at someone's post count, that even though they had posted seven or eight times in the thread, the post count was zero.

I watched mine and realized, that it dosen't move either. o_0

Are the counters not working, or just lagging?

I'm pretty sure my count has been 1,070 for months.

Currently, posting in the RPG and the Creative Writing boards will not affect your post count. RPG has always been this way, and will continue to be so.

The Writing count is a temporary measure, until how the recent crazy amounts of spam accumulated in there is decided to be dealt with.

Wasn't Newbies that way too? I thought it had been decided that posts there don't count since it is a neverending cascade of "welcome to M2A!" posts

i'm fine with both newbies and creative writing being that way. they're both areas that encourage a form of accidental spam. and well, post count doesn't really matter anyways to the people in my forums, right? *^-^*

My post count seems to have gone down a whole lot. I'm positive it was above 800.

you probably lost posts from newbies and creative writing becoming 'no post count' zones, like what was mentioned in this thread. You aren't the only one to lose that many posts, I have as well. no biggy.
