Music Punk Music VS Metal etc.

THAT is the essence of music. The height of artistic expression is when someone can take personal meaning (or an attached memory) from a song. I'm like that with "Tiny Vessels", by Death Cab for Cutie. Every line perfectly describes my first real relationship. Whenever I listen to it it gets me thinking, remembering times gone by and memories that I will never forget.

P.S. And that thing about Davey being hot... If he gets any more feminine, I might have to start saying it!

 

Heh, Death Cab for Cutie has the same effect on me with their song I'll Follow You Into the Dark, I mean..It just has one of those never be alone feelings to it. Slightly depressing but also uplifting. It goes to show not all the tagged 'emo' bands arn't singing only about razor blades and broken hearts.
