  1. Uh oh - now I am even MORE interested in hearing those sounds!!!

It's really not that hard to record to a PC. Do you have any software like cool edit or
soundforge? That, a computer and a sound card will more then do it!

    Let me know. :)

  2. Lance,

There is NO problem with the source materials -
    I have scans of everything.

The complete file (zipped) is around 1.7MB.

You could of course start with the introduction - I'm sure that the whole group would love
to hear the things Tomita has to say!

Thank you very much for volunteering.

P.S. There are a few wonderful illustrations in the vinyl "booklet" that it looks like Tomita
    has drawn himself. Hmmm... :)

P.P.S. It seems that my original post has generated quite a bit of activity here.
I am very happy to see this - and wonderfully pleased with the messages from the many
Tomita users who have shared with the group about the synthesizer that they have.
    Thanks all!

I know a friend with a good sound studio who is also a Tomita fan.
I'm sure that he would be willing to create and contribute a song that is inspired by
    Tomita's works.

Well... my PC sound card is really unuseable (terrible sound quality). This
makes it difficult to make new mp3s for the web. I have to buy the more
costly "consumer" blank CDR discs, move my Pioneer CD recorder from the other
    room and, yada-yada... (kinda of a pain). : )

What I did do is upload a 526kb MP3 to the Yahoo Tomita Files page. It's a
short demo of a sound that I created on one of my synths about a year ago. I
think you have to log in to Yahoo first, but it is here:

Er, its kind of the point of having a domain and website for
Tomita. Its cool if you guys want to split off and make your own
site, but this group was formed by John Breslin, so I think you'd
    better ask him maybe?

I for one am concerned that an entire work is freely available as
a download. But thats just me.
