    Could one of them have been Sanosuke? He was an anemy for a while. and I can't remember the names of any of the others.. been a while. Jin E (sp?) and the guy who now has no good sword hand lol

    No Hiruma Gohei is not one of his major opponents...LOL...and by the end of the first season, he:

    -has no good hands at all (left or right)
    -has no way to have children for the rest of his life...

    Sano would be a good choice, but nope.

    Udo Jine (the Kurogasa) is one of the answers...

    Alright, to make my life easier, here are hints for each of the answers (in order)...Hopefully, even "That Guy!" can get these now...

    1) An ex-Shinsengumi known as the "Black Hat"
    2) Fights with a Kodachi defensively, Kenpo offensively
    3) A group that was responsible for guarding Edo castle
    4) Managed to scratch Kenshin with air pressure
    5) The wolf of Mibu
    6) Trained as replacement to the Hitokiri Battousai

    Okay, answer away!!

    I didn't even notice those guys there before really, they're shadows! *blah,blah,blah rambling excuses that you guys don't care about*

    after watching that part over and over I am now one with:
    1) Udo Jine
    2) Shinomori Aoshi
    3) Oniwa Banshu
    4) Raijyuta Isurugi (this one had me stumped)
    5) Saitoh Hajime
    6) Shishio Makato

    and I'm coming for you BAKAMATTSU!!!!!

    Congrats to "That Guy!", who finally got the answers out - after they were practically given away...And to Seraphim, for correctly answering my hidden 7th question (bet none of you others noticed it was there!!)

    Too bad I'm too cheap to award prizes, huh??

    BakaMattSu, saying ouch-ie, the kick in the shin was bad enough...but calling me "BakaMattSu-ey" hurt even more!!
