Comics Runaways

So I basically don't read any American comics except Batman and I never really touch Marvel universe stuff at all, but I had heard that Joss Whedon of Buffy the Vampire Slayer fame had picked up writing the series Runaways starting with issue #25 and so I thought I'd try it.

I've now bought #25, #26, and #27 and it keeps getting better. I can't wait to pick up the rest. They've currently released up to issue #29 so I'm a little behind (please don't spoil the next two issues for me y'all).

Anybody else heard of this series or read any of it?
