    The character is "Aku", which means bad or evil...so on. This is just to show that Sanosuke is a badass. You've gotta remember that Sano is a gangster, so this is probly to intimidate his rivals.

    Well .... Sano might shows from the outside that he is evil or bad ... etc ...

    But in his inside he is sooo kind and really cares about every body around him ... isnt that right?:confused:

    Really, you should remember that most of the hicks in Chatham wouldn't know who Kenshin and Sanosuke are. You have to remember that you're in the idiocy capitol of the world. They probably wouldn't know what a samurai is if you didn't tell them first. Hell, they probably can't even find their own Canada on a map of itself.
