So what the hell is this FOAF stuff for anyway?

    The GraphRenderer started, but the graph is blank after a few minutes still. I've clicked the FoaF link in posts before to see a huge list but I wasn't sure if my browser was reading it correctly.

    No, your browser's fine. The FoaF link is actually an XML dump of your friend list. With it, you could literally do whatever stylization or manipulation you could dream up.

    For example, with Cloud's little presentation, we get a visual charting starting from my friend list.
