Subscribed Threads

I've seen this in my CP and I was wondering, what is it and what is it for?

 

Its the threads you have read and its just letting you know if there are any new updates in the thread and if you have the option activated it will send you an email every time a new post is posted in that thread. I think I covered it but if i didnt someone can make up for what I left off....

 

When you subscribe to a thread, all new posts to that thread will appear in your UserCP. (You can also choose to recieve email notification of new posts) This option can be set to run automatically for every thread you post in, or you can do it manually in the "Thread Tools" dropdown menu.

You can set the option in the Edit Options section of the UserCP.

As for subscribing to forums, it's the same thing except you're notified of all updates within the entire forum.

Hehe, it comes with the terrain. You learn a lot about the software when you own a copy of it.

Reisti, Rei, either works as a good abbreviation. But you know, you only have to look at it to know how to spell it- it's in the thread, my profile, the thread preview when you go to reply...
