I'm following my own path,
Crossroads catching me at every turn.
But you know how it goes,
You live and you learn.

The weather wears me down,
The stories I hear make me think.
The world around me seems to change,
As I search to find my missing link.

I have my ups and my downs,
I bite my tongue and try to cope,
Yet something tells me sometimes
There really is no hope.

So padding across this place,
Eyes wandering from yours to the open sky.
You make me rethink my traveling
Because I can't just pass you by.

 

Those last two sentences make me think of Kenshin when he was about to go off again on wandering Japan when he first meet Kaoru after he beats the crap out of the people that were trying to use the name Battousai. If you've watched it, you know what I mean.
