I think its for how long you have been logged on, not for how long you have been here since you created your account.
As of this post Soitsu, you've been on for 21 hours, 36 minutes, and 57 seconds. Check back in a couple days, I suppose, and see if it's changed.
Like I said i've noticed this for a FEW weeks, not now, FEW weeks, so it's really sad cause, it shows HOW UNACTIVE I WAS FOR A WHILE!!!:p

I've not changed in weeks, literally :p

3 weeks, 4 days, and 22 hours as of now, see if it changes.

"Time is on my side. Yes it is."

Good place to bring it up. Cloud shall have to look into it.

It's likely Cloud forgot to reinput his code change when he upgraded to vB 3.5.4.

Although, if you've been watching mine, the reason it hasn't gone up is because the time I've been spending on BJP is measured in seconds now, not minutes or hours.

My interest has really waned lately...

    Next day update!

It's currently almost nine thirty in the night here, and I've been logged on since three in the afternoon today.

My time is yet to change, proving that it's actually true that the thing doesn't change.

Which means my hypothesis is likely correct. Without the code change to create the data to insert into the database, the data is not updated and the time does not increase.

Frankly I think it hasn't worked out as well as I'd hoped when I suggested it and wouldn't mind seeing it go.

It's called "intelligence" and an "educated guess." :p

I know vBulletin quite well, better than the average forum user for sure, and I've found I can typically figure out where a problem might be located based on information the problem gives me, though fixing it is typically another matter.

In this case, the time doesn't increase. It still displays, which indicates the values remain in the database. That really leaves only the required code change to the vBulletin file. Which makes sense- the code edit adds the database queries that increase the time, and without those queries it cannot increase.

Anyway, it should be fixed as soon as Cloud reads this thread.

That was about as clear as I can make it. If I were you I'd mark it up as being technobabble and forget about it. :p

The simple fact is Cloud'll have the problem fixed before long, and that's all that really matters here.
